We’re very fond of the The Farmer’s Market, and all the good things it does for our local farmers and growers. It’s a weekly event, held each Sunday in the Melville St car park 9am to 1pm. Literally packed full of fresh and seasonal local Tasmanian delights, it boasts produce that is actually sold to you by the growers themselves.

On offer… freshly baked breads, vegetables, fruit, jams and preserves, boutique beer + wine, yummy cheeses + dairy, local meat and plants, for those inspired to grow their own.

The Farmer’s Market is fast becoming THE place to buy your local produce, and no wonder, where else can you buy fruit + veg that has been picked that very day, by the same people who grew it. Also great for a chat with the stallholders who really and truly know their product, and the very best way to cook/prepare it.
